This TOUR D’ZOO project is a collaboration project with TOUCH organization. We will be working with unfortunate children at some homes under TOUCH organization. TOUR D’ZOO is a 1 day event which is based on the reality show “AMAZING RACE”. However, it will be in a smaller scale since the target audiences are children. There are several aims of this project:
· To raise student awareness about the presence of the unfortunate children around Singapore.
· Learn how to lead a specific group of people (children) -leadership skills
· Helping the unfortunate children to aware about other value of life
· Giving the unfortunate children chance to experience interesting activity
There are some job allocations for this project such as group leaders, station masters, logistics, first aiders, securities, planning, and funding.
Brief description of activity:
· One day activity (morning – afternoon)
· Lunch break in the middle of the activity
· The activity started by briefing from the group leaders about the activity of the day
· Followed by a tour around the zoo and lunch intermission
· Games will be held after lunch, continued by prize presentation
· The children then dismissed from the zoo and returned back to their homes
