rotary District 3310 Youth Exchange Committee is organizing project LIFE 7B with aim to enable youth to provide continual assistance of rebuilding hope to the people of Khao Lak through an English camp in the sea gypsy village school of Chao Thai Mai.
Destination: Khao Lak, Thailand
Date: 17-22 December 2009
Cost: $480 (includes airfare, insurance, and taxes ater subsidy)
Places are limited - first come first serve basis.
Activities:
- visit to disaster sites, study of natural hazards.
- visit to memorial site of Police Patrol Boat, Tsunami memorial cemetery, Royal Thai Police, sea gypsy community etc.
- Community work
- English and Art camp
- and many other interesting activities
